What was built
Built this after getting frustrated with how generic AI email tools feel. You paste in the recipient's name, role, company, one specific real thing you noticed about them (a post they wrote, a product they launched, something they said publicly), your goal for the email, and your tone, and it generates a cold email under 120 words that opens with that specific observation instead of the usual "I came across your work and was really impressed." Also added a banned words list directly into the prompt so it never outputs "synergy," "touch base," "circle back," or "leverage." Those words alone are probably responsible for 30% of cold emails going straight to trash. Tested across about 40 real outreach emails over the past month. Reply rate noticeably higher than my previous templated approach, though obviously hard to isolate exactly why. Happy to share the full prompt in the comments if anyone wants to try it.
