What was built
Disclosure up front: I'm a co-founder of nopaywall. What it is: a free-to-browse catalog of AI freebies and limits. No account needed to read it. Cards cover LLM trials/credits, student offers, free API providers, image/video/music generation caps, and free or open-source alternatives to paid tools. Each card links out, states the real limit, and shows the last check date. Offers that stop working get removed. Rounded snapshot (Oct 2026; terms change): - 100+ free API providers (model finder includes DeepSeek, Qwen, GLM, Kimi, Gemini, Llama, Mistral and others) - 60+ student offers - Image/video/music caps on /limits — e.g. Pollinations (no-auth image gen; docs say unlimited), Orylia ~20 images/day without signup, Mureka 50 Gold/day (~4 songs, non-commercial on free), Runway 125 one-time credits with watermark - 100+ alternative mappings from paid products to free/OSS stand-ins How checks work: sources are configured by maintainers, collected automatically, then compared against the official pricing/offer/docs page with source evidence kept.
