Cool
Everyone talks about AI like the hard part is figuring out which tools to use. Pick the right one, learn the interface, done. But the thing that actually took me the longest to figure out had nothing to do with the tools themselves. It was learning how to think clearly enough to use them well.Because AI kind of holds up a mirror to how you think. If you ask a vague question you get a vague answer. If you have not actually thought through what you want you will get something that sounds right but misses the point entirely. And then it is easy to blame the tool when the real issue was the quality of your own thinking going in.The people I have seen get the most out of AI are not necessarily the most technical. They are the ones who can articulate a problem clearly, spot when an answer is slightly off, and know when to push back and when to accept what they got.In a weird way getting better at AI made me realise how much of my thinking I was outsourcing before I even got to the AI part. Just accepting the first framing of a problem rather than actually questioning it.Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
