Like why tho? I mean what’s in their minds, sitting there, drinking coffee, and deciding “yep! that’s it, let’s fucking add more censoring and safety guards to the point where a ‘hey’ gets answered with ‘I can’t actually say hey back because I’m an AI not a human! If you feel dizzy or you feel your life is in danger please call someone.’”

I think a lot of it happens because the companies behind these AI tools are constantly trying to balance usefulness with safety. Every update fixes some problems but sometimes creates new frustrations too.I've definitely had moments where an AI gave a super cautious answer to something that felt completely harmless 😂
