I’d say Python will remain highly relevant over the next five years, largely because it sits at the intersection of AI, data science, automation, and backend development.That said, I don’t think there will be one language that dominates everything. JavaScript/TypeScript should remain important for web development, while Rust and Go have strong use cases around performance, infrastructure, and cloud systems.For me, the more interesting question is how AI-assisted development changes the role of each language rather than which language simply “wins.”
