It's over

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from wanting those things to be fixed because we tried. They got rid of something else that was important people rely on and they don't care they care about money they care about profits and they don't give a fuck about their customers.

There's only a few people I hate that make me sick and one of them is Sam Altman for constantly egging on people and disappointing everyone. Anyone who uses ChatGPT and has gone through their own problems I can relate to you 100%.

I don't like Elon Musk and I don't know if he would be better at handling ChatGPT. I don't know what he would have done differently than Sam Altman and maybe if Elon was able to buy it he would ruin that just like he ruined Twitter and users switched to Bluesky. Maybe it would be the same case with if he bought OpenAI.

I'm just venting at this point because I'm angry and furious that I've given it chance after chance after chance and it's time to throw in the towel.

For anyone who has made their own 4o website where there's no unnecessary filters and guardrails, it's able to draw quality pictures, and it's memory isn't the memory of a goldfish or a chicken, I look forward to trying you out someday.

That's all I wanted to say and I hope everyone who reads my post will share their feelings too.

I get the frustration. When people rely on a tool daily, sudden changes feel personal, especially if features they trusted disappear. Companies should communicate better, preserve useful options, and respect power users instead of constantly forcing everyone into newer, restricted versions.
