Same here, I actually preferred the old saved memories approach because it kept each chat focused and predictable.
It’s so ugly istg it does not remember anything from my saved memories despite i reverted it to remember the saved memory instead, and it just makes me repeat myself thousand of times even when they stated that the memory is redesigned to prevent repetition.
I desperately looked for the “Reference from chat history” to turn it off. I genuinely think that the stored memory is the best thing ever and I like to keep each chatrooms to be focused in one thing only. I love the 5.5 model but if they keep it with this memory system… 👁️
